Elana is one of the most prominent American Winter Olympians who openly discusses her Christian faith and how it shapes her athletic purpose. She has said she believes God put her in the sport to help others come to Christ and that she competes to glorify God, whether she wins or not. “At the end of the day, I’m in this sport to glorify God… God put me here for a specific reason.”
