San Antonio meteorologist says on-air prayer was led by God

As severe storms threatened South Texas, San Antonio meteorologist Bill Taylor did something viewers don’t often see on live television—he prayed.
The KENS 5 chief meteorologist paused during his forecast to ask God to protect families in the storm’s path. The moment quickly spread across social media, with many viewers thanking him for offering hope during a frightening situation.
Taylor later told CBN News the prayer wasn’t planned.
“I just felt the Spirit of God come over me,” he said. Although the clip went viral, Taylor said praying during dangerous weather isn’t new for him. He first did so several years ago and expected criticism but instead received overwhelming support from viewers. Since then, he has occasionally prayed on air during life-threatening storms.
