A 96 Day Premature Baby Miraculously Survived Because of This
It’s easy to have faith when everything’s going well. But when everything falls apart, you have to ask yourself, “Do I really believe what I say I believe?”
That’s the situation Jason and Emily Orme found themselves in on Christmas Day 2013. Emily was only six months pregnant when she gave birth to their son Eli. He was 96 days premature, weighed just 2.7 pounds, and had only a 50 percent chance of survival.
Unsure if their newborn son would live, Jason and Emily relied heavily on their faith to help them face the unnerving days and nights ahead.
We will all face difficult times in life. While our trials are different, our anchor can be the same: faith. It gives us strength. It gives us confidence. It helps us find joy and understanding when we need it most.
How has your faith helped you through a difficult time?
