How Grace McCallum’s faith helped her reach the Olympics
Grace McCallum, an Olympic gymnast on Team USA can’t believe she is competing in Tokyo. Back in January she suffered an injury to her hand she feared would interfere with her performance in the Olympic Trials.
“When I got injured, I thought that my Olympic dreams kind of went down the drain,” she said.
But because of her faith in God, McCallum persevered and the hard work paid off. A devout Catholic, McCallum credits her faith with helping her overcome the odds stacked against her. Here she openly talks about the role faith has played in her life and gymnastics career.
