Photo Your Faith 2021 Contest Winners
The votes are in and the judges have spoken!! And the 2021 Photo Your Faith Contest by Faith Counts has officially come to a close. We would like to thank everyone for their participation. We received nearly 300 submissions this year!
We would also like to congratulate our two winners, who will receive a Grand Prize worth $10,000, and a Fan Favorite prize worth $5,000.
Tysha Long, the Grand Prize Winner, moved our illustrious judges with her image titled “Let The Church Say Amen.” Here’s what she wrote as part of her entry: “My neighborhood is suffering from the lack of knowledge and shut their minds to thinking divine. Satan you’re running out of time. Jesus’s ambassadors will change their minds. It is God’s vine that produces fruit of every kind.”
In the photo, Tysha is holding up “The Maxwell Leadership Bible,” while looking up at a church in disrepair.
As the judges remarked, Tysha’s image captured the intimate connection to faith very well. “It was well framed,” and “speaks to the pandemic, life emerging out of a dead building.” The type of Bible she is holding reflects “a call to lead and create.”
The Fan Favorite Winner, Harry Prasetyo Seno Yudho, submitted his image titled “SURRENDER,” which included a picture of a young girl being baptized.
Harry captioned his photo with: “Surrender your life with HIM, let everything works in HIS name, Jesus Christ. HE is our Way Maker.”
Again, congratulations to our winners and all those that submitted an entry. Your photos remind us about the significance of faith, especially as we face the world. Faith is part of the formula for facing any situation.
