Women’s World Cup: Memorable faith moments from the 2019 tournament
The U.S. Women’s National Team are back home after their historic World Cup win and the celebration continues with a ticker tape parade in New York on Wednesday.
The soccer team defeated the Netherlands Sunday to earn a fourth star above its crest.
From Twitter rifts to protests, the 2-0 win over the Dutch capped off one of the most entertaining women’s soccer tournaments in recent memory.
Through it all, several players posted openly about faith, using their burgeoning platform to make just as much impact off the field.
